Yanez vs. Salvador
Adrian Yanez, TKO, R2
I'd be shocked if Yanez loses this fight. This is a massive step down in comp for him, and I don't see Salvador having anything for him outside of a hail mary.

Hill vs. Pinheiro
Angela Hill, DEC
Very close fight on paper. I'll go with Hill. She's just more consistent and has far more experience to rely on, and, at this point, seems to be the more put-together fighter overall.

Nolan vs. Martinez
Tom Nolan, TKO, R1
Square pick. Nolan's fight to lose.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 615 Points   |   Tied for 541st

Barboza vs. Murphy
Edson Barboza, DEC
Don't really have much confidence either way, but I lean Barboza because he's been more active, has tons more experience, and has beaten better opponents.

Williams vs. Harris
Khaos Williams, TKO, R1
I really like Harris and his wonky style, but I don't really think he's got much more than a punchers (or "subbers") chance. Williams has more refined striking, is younger, hits harder (on paper), and has good takedown defense. Carlston isn't a bad striker and certainly has a massive upside in terms of his submissions, but I don't have confidence he'll be able to create grappling exchanges unless Khaos falls into an anaconda choke. Williams KO or DEC.

Brahimaj vs. Gorimbo
Themba Gorimbo, DEC
Picking Gorimbo to outwrestle Brahimaj to a decision, but I'm betting Brahimaj. Gorimbo isn't unbeatable and has shown that he's vulnerable to subs, especially considering how much he relies on grappling to beat opponents (not named Pete Rodriguez or Takashi Sato)... But I'll still say he wins. Size, reach, power, strength, dynamism all lie with the Zimbabwean.

@Oneyecrook
To be fair, Wells also has bad fight IQ and it was likely to catch up to him against an opponent he couldn't just bull over with his athleticism. He's exactly the kind of guy who would fall into an anaconda in round 3 of a fight he's winning.

Anyways, alls I'm saying is Jon Jones might be the worst "Heavyweight Champ" we've ever had. Sits on his ass til Francis finally leaves, quickly strangles a kickboxer for a cereal box championship, sabotages the Heavyweight division by sitting on the title like a chicken on an egg and refuses to fight actual contenders. He's lucky the old head Middleweights were willing to fight him coming up or who would he be?

I believe she has slowed down, but she is still winning fights.

This whole card is full of untrustworthy fighters, those that shouldn't be are because of their age. Just a tinderbox of a card.
