My Picks

Predictions: 1 of 3 Winners, 0 Perfect, 65 Points   |   Tied for 72nd

Short card so I am on it.

Livavaa vs Markovic: They are already talking about Livavaa facing Nikita Tsyzu so I am assuming this is just a bounce back/look good fight or something to showcase him since this was the fight that was elevated. I am not sure of his chances again the younger Tsyzu though based on his recent loss. For this fight though, he should come out with a win. Markovic has only fought 3 people in his 4 fights, with two of his wins against a guy who was 0-19 the first time around and 0-25 the second. Also, I am not sure if this is a good sign or bad sign but he has another fight already scheduled for two weeks out in the middle weight division so they may be moving him up to try to keep his record above .500 since the guy is 1-4-1.

Pilcher vs Quinlan: I am picking Quinlan and not just because of the extra 4.8kg. Not even sure what the other guy weighed in at or if they even weigh them in on 1-days notice. Not like they can do much at that point. Quinlan likely reached his ceiling in his recent losses against Aokuso and Miller but he should be able to manage this guy though.

Dib vs Beauchamp: Dib may have reached his ceiling as well with his recent loss to "La Bala" Balla but should not have a tough night either. I am assuming this is a bounce back fight against Beauchamp, the Assassin from Siam, the #1 ranked lightweight in NZ (#1 of 3). Nine of Beauchamp's wins came against people in their pro debut and almost all the people he won against are no longer in the sport except for Cody Sione (#2 of 3) who he had a recent split decision draw with. If they fight again maybe Cody will win this time and he will be 1-1-1. They even have Cody listed in the World as #683, 1 behind Beauchamp #682. Beauchamp has lost to a gamut of higher ranked competition all the way up to Sam Goodman.

Sette vs Kim: This is probably the toughest one. I am going with Sette because of his recent activity even though the last match was a loss. Kim has fought a lot of opponents with losing records and has been out of the ring for over a year.

All that work and I did not realize I could not bet on Dib. FanDuel isn't showing the line and the only thing I found was Betonline which was -20000.

Also, I did not mean to takeover the discussion thread.

Keep me away from Australian boxing. They pick the wrong bin men.
