My MMA Rankings
Favorite MMA Fighters
I'm not a big "rally round the flag" guy. No fighter posters or anything like that. These are mostly folks I have some kind of partisan interest in, who have earned my respect in some way, or who are toiling in the shadows but could break out any time.

I noticed that I keep getting points when I pick her, so top of the list she goes. Beautiful woman, too.

Kearney, NE: gotta represent. I'm a little dismayed by his ties to Ramzan Kadyrov, and he should probably stay off the YouTube except for training videos, but I think he's a solid guy at heart.

- Francis NGannou
- "The Predator"
- 17-3-0
-
Impressed by how he's rounded out his game. I'm a fan of Stipe, but if he was going to get beat, this was the guy to do it.

Started following her because she was hot. Now she has more of a "performance" body than a feminine figure, but I don't follow this sport because the fighters are good looking. She's matured into a hell of a fighter.

- Derrick Lewis
- "The Black Beast"
- 28-12-0, 1 NC

My balls are also quite hot.
Seriously, dropping one's pants after a fight is pretty damn awesome. So, too, is handwaving a title shot because you don't want to go five rounds. I first saw Lewis at an RFA card in Kearney, NE. I'd like to say I saw the greatness then, but that would be a lie.

Local dude. Standup guy, great ambassador for the sport.

Adding him because he didn't make excuses for his fouls against Moreno that cost him the win.
-
17
- Demetrious Johnson
- "Mighty Mouse" | 25-4-1
-
One of the best for a very long time. Never makes excuses, never makes me ashamed to be an MMA fan.

Any MMA guy who trains Wing Chun is all right by me.
-
22
- Lyoto Machida
- "The Dragon" | 26-12-0

At the point now where he should probably hang 'em up - but he's still one of my favorites for expanding the vocabulary of the sport the way he did.

-
27
- Ji Won Kang

Pulled off a major upset to go 5-0 in a fight where everyone thought he was cannon fodder. Like Kane, this is a fighter to watch as the heavyweight division picks up steam.
-
28
- Reinier de Ridder

Undefeated ONE champ at 205 lbs. Another one to watch out for.
