The fight I wanted. Five-rounder in December. Should be a great fight.

Great fight. I have Robbie winning and hopefully he rematches Woodley next.

Awesome fight but...Does Woodley wait for the winner? We'd be looking at probably 6 or more months and the possibility of injury between these two in probably a 5 round war is very high.I'd honestly rather have seen one of these guys just get a title shot and the other (RDA imo) fight someone else with a win putting him next in line.Is Woodley injured right now?

This fights awesome but I can see this having a negative effect as far as the champ defending anytime soon and he last fought at the end of July,so we could be looking at 9 months between defending and that's if Lawlor or RDA can make a pretty quick turnaround. Not digging it tbh, holding up the division with this.Maybe Woodley is hurt idk.

Personally, I wont miss Woodley if he does not fight during 9 month...

Maybe UFC want to give a third chance to Thompson if he beat Masvidal...

or another title shot for GSP if he beat Bisping.

Masvidal deserves the title shot without a doubt if he beats Wonderboy.

I believe RDA's best chances for winning this fight is by submitting Lawler which I believe he'll do.

I think finally the size of WW's will be too much for RDA, Lawler's TDD is stellar and RDA will be at risk every second he stand with him. RDA can maybe beat the Top 10 of WW but not the top 5 and if he beats Lawler he should leapfrog everybody to a title shot.

P.S. Robbie did not lose to cowboy, shakejunt, get your eyes checked.

Man it was a close fight Lawler Cerrone. I agree with you though Lawler won that fight. I think Lawler kills RDA here man, RDA is just too small, he even looked small at Lightweight, he's too small for this division. I think his first fight in this division against Safferdeine was bang average. Looked much better against Neil Magny though. I think Robbie just has to watch those leg kicks for the first couple rounds, doubt he'll have any trouble stuffing the takedowns too. Lawler KO eventually

I didn't think there was much controversy if any about Lawler getting the nod over Cowboy.

I feel like this fight will be very close, with each guy having their best moment when they're dictating the pace. Lawler will pressure RDA, who doesn't handle pressure all that well, and RDA will return the favor in the rounds Robbie is more passive. Great fight all around.

Lawler pretty much defines 'shopworn'. That's the price he's paid for giving us all those barnburners.

I'm very surprised so few picking RDA in this. I think RDA takes it by stoppage around the third or foiurth. Robbie doesn't have the power he once had and his reflexes aren't what they were...I can see RDA scotting in on him for a finish.
