I would have Fitch and Diaz pretty much tied. Fitch has beaten more top 10 fighters but Diaz just dismantled Penn who recently had a Draw against Fitch.

surprised most people don't have BJ anymore.  Yea he just got beat bad by Diaz, but he did win the first round, and Diaz is the number one contender. To each his own i guess

Mine.

When Diaz actually beats a top 5 WW, you can put him in the top 5. I'm not saying he can't, but I base my rankings on what has actually happened, not on what I think is going to happen. Fitch, Condit, Ellenberger, Shields, and Koscheck all have far better wins at 170lbs than Nick Diaz does, and Diego Sanchez holds a win over him at 170lbs. I don't necessarily think that fight would go the same way these days, but Diaz has yet to prove otherwise. The win over Penn was impressive. Before that, he wasn't in my top 10.

I still have BJ quite high it was a close fight wit Diaz... He won the first quite convincingly. Before that he drew with the 2nd best WW and before that knocked out Hughes in 21 seconds.

Absolutely Thiago. BJ took that first round to problem. The only reason I took him off my list is because he retired.
