" Being a mixed martial artist is more than just training and learning how to fight. It's beyond knowing how to box, grapple or do jiu jitsu. It's the way one lives. I don't mean watching it on t.v. or constantly talking about it with friends and going to multiple practices a day. I'm talking about the way one treats people and wildlife, eats, lives clean and takes care of oneself. The way they treat, love, or show respect to their family, friends, strangers, and most importantly their opponent. Because to me, being a champion doesn't come from owning a belt or a medal. ANYBODY that works hard and trys their best DESERVES a medal. Being a champion, a warrior or a fighter comes totally from the way you live and act outside the ring or cage. Now putting all that in and mixing it up with EVERYTHING you learned and trained in about fighting, grappling, boxing, jiu jitsu, etc. and STILL being able to keep composed with a clear mind while using your knowledge trying to defeat your opponent under pressure.. Well that my friends, that to me is being a mixed martial artist. But that's just my opinion. Fight Smart, Not Hard. "
